Set in L.A, the infamous Hollywood sign makes a quick appearance, Tim Schumacher in a contemplative state, sitting poolside in his modernist house, often cooling himself off with a dip in the pool. With Van Assche’s cubist designs, inspired by a trip the designer took to the East Coast, the result is a sensual and elegant moment of bliss. The film has a very homemade film feel, shot with various different cameras adding to the intimate, fly on the wall kind of feel.
With video game speed and sounds, we discover the 4 actresses‘ imaginary bedrooms through the liquid slide projections created by overlaying the footage with magnificent patterns of the Miu Miu prints, and dive into a techno interpretation of the SS14 collection, starring a new generation of Hollywood talent.
